Located in a former hostel dating from the 16th century, the listed site of the international Carnival and Mask Museum is laden with history. Discover, through archival documents and podcasts, the different stages of the institution’s creation and how the collections have been built up, learn about the missions of the Museum and the numerous significations of masks.
Available on tactile tablets provided free of charge (identity card as deposit) or on your smartphone, this new digital tool will then guide you through the different continents of our permanent exhibition « Masks from all over the world » by means of audio comments, photographs and videos. Our front desk staff will be happy to give you further information.
