Our new temporary exhibition VISIONS gives you the opportunity to discover the particular views of four contemporary Belgian artists on the mask: Sofi van Saltbommel, Pierre Liebaert, Stephan Goldrajch and Bob Vanderbob.
Their photographs, ceramic works, textile pieces, sound installations and visual installations give evidence of the overflowing imagination of the four artists and show a different manner to look at folklore and masquerade. Each in their own way, they go beyond the « object-mask » in order to delve into the heart of the rituals and mythologies underlying these practices.
The temporary exhibition VISIONS runs until 2 January 2022.
